About Me/ Company

Any Winsford Walkie is about giving your dog exercise and a little fun to break up their day spent at home on their own. I try to be kind whilst being firm. I use encouragement and incentive to promote good behaviour and manage their energy whilst asserting my position as pack leader.

I started by walking my neighbours black labrador whilst his mum and dad are at work. He is a lively teenager with loads of energy who needs stimulation and to be occupied. We love our walks, both the regular routes where he can sniff around and check out his patch as well as less frequent routes which add a bit of interest and intrigue for him. We play ball and have a game of tug when we home to make sure that he is happy to rest and relax ready for his mum and dad's return.

I have a pair of dogs who I walk everyday while their owners are at work, a heinz 57 girl who is enthusiastic, lively and bright and wants to be first to everything with a border terrier who like to sniff, investigate and mark everything we pass so our walks are interesting.

My aim is that they have an interesting walk that releases energy, meets their natural needs and relaxes them so that when you get back you can make the most of them.

Previous Experience

I've always been a fan of dogs and my immediate family have dogs, I also have contact with dogs through my brother, who lives on a farm with Irish Wolfhounds and Greyhounds. I help out with dog walking duties. This normally involves taking out two dogs at a time in the fields and lanes around the farm. My brothers wife is a reputatable breeder and internationally recognised dog judge so it is an environment where dog welfare and good practice is a priority.

Relevant Info

I'm based in Winsford, Cheshire and would be happy to travel to look after dogs within 15 minutes of my home on regular bookings. I would consider bookings further away by arrangement and with consideration for petrol costs.

Other Services

Along with the walking, I can provide sitting options in your own home. By arrangement I'm happy to take on ad hoc days to cover days away on business, long weekends and holidays.

As part of my service I can also provide your dogs with reiki for healing or well being as I am a reiki master. Reiki is an ancient form of energy management using hands to conduct energy to another person or animal. In my experience animals love the energy and are very good at recognising and asking for it if they want it. It can provide relief and support in healing injury and managing conditions as well promoting general well being.
