Wheelers Walkies is a small friendly company that offers dogs and their owners a professional and personal dog walking and day care service in Hastings and its surrounding areas.

If you're like us, your dog is a part of the family and when you can't be home for them whether because of work, holiday or other obligations, you want them taken care of with the same love and attention that you give them yourself. That’s where Wheelers Walkies can help.

With services ranging from dog-walking,pet & House sitting,pet feeding doggy day care, every care is taken to ensure your dogs are well looked after and cared for, giving you peace of mind while you’re away.

We use fully insured and equiped vehicle's with air conditioning and doggy crates to transport you pet safe and securely.

Every client receives a welcome pack and 10% off the're first weeks walks.

Previous Experience

My name is Holly and I run Wheelers Walkies. I started Wheelers Walkies for because friends suggested after walking their dogs whilst on holiday for a couple of months that I should do it for a living. It seemed the perfect opportunity to combine my love of animals and working outside.

I have always enjoyed spending time with animals . I really know how important it is to keep animals amused with play and exercise. Whether I am walking your dog or feeding your pet, I can assure you that I will treat your pet as if they are my own by providing love, cuddles and fun whilst they are under my care. I have also recently completed a pet first aid course

Q: How do I know I can trust Wheelers Walkies?
A: We have been fully police checked and are fully insured and can provide any references you require upon request.


Q: Will I meet my dog walker?
A: Yes. We offer a free face-to-face consultation which gives us the opportunity to meet you and your dog and to find out more about your dog's personality and needs. If at any time your designated dog walker should change, you will have the opportunity to meet them beforehand.


Q: Will you need a key to my property?
A: It depends on whether you are at home when you wish the dog to be walked. If you are at work or you are out then we would need a key to come and collect your dog and return them home safely. Your key will always be kept in a secure and safe place by us.

Q: Do you walk dogs in all weather conditions?
A: Yes! We will walk your dog in ALL weather conditions no matter what.

Q: What forms of payment do you accept?
A: We accept cash, cheque's or balance transfer payments only.

Q: What areas do you cover for dog walking?
A: We cover Hastings, Battle & Bexhill. (we may be able to cover other close areas so please contact us to ask)

Q: Will you look after my pet overnight?
A: Unfotunately we do not offer dog boarding at the moment but it is a service we hope to offer in the near future.

Q: How many dogs are walked at any one time?
A: During a group session we will not walk more than five dogs at a time. This ensures that we are in full control of your dog and can give them our full care and attention. Should you prefer your dog to be walked separately then one-to-one walks are available

Other Services

Group Walks
Your dog will be walked with a maximum of 4 other dogs, providing plenty of all important canine interaction, socialisation and play-time. Walks take place in various locations to keep your dogs interested and stimulated. Firm favourites are Fairlight, St.Helens Woods, Crowhurst, Whydown Woods, Battle Great Woods and the Hastings to Bexhill Seafront walk. Treats and fresh water will be provided.

Individual Walks
If your dog needs undivided attention, extra close supervision or you would prefer for your dog to be walked separately then one-to-one walks are also available.

Pet Sitting

Doggy Boot Camp
The focus on this service is exercise, in a safe lawful environment where they get a great work out. This inHourly service: If you are popping out for an evening, we can feed and keep your pet company, provide love, play and attention and make sure that your furniture and cushions stay intact while you are out.

Daily or weekly service: If you require holiday or longer term sitting and dread the thought of your dogs or cats boarding away from home, we will live in your house and look after all your pet’s needs whilst you are away. This is a great alternative to kennels and catteries as your pet will feel secure in familiar surroundings and their routine will not be disturbed. Included as part of the service:

•Dogs will receive a minimum of two walks per day
•Loads of attention and fuss
•Provision of food and water
•Litter tray, aquariums and cages kept clean
Normal chores will be looked after such as watering plants, general housework and answering the phone. You can even organise pre-arranged trades people to do work while you’re away and get your groceries delivered to your house before your arrival home.

If you require this service it is advisable to book early to avoid disappointment. To ensure your pet is comfortable with our companionship we will meet your pet before the sitting commences.

Ideal for sick, disabled or elderly dog owners who struggle to fullfil their dogs exercise needs. A great service for adolescent and adult dogs. Available mid-morning and afternoons. Balls, toys, treats and fresh water provided.

Doggy Day Care
This service provides you an all day care service for your dog. Whilst you are away for the day or working long hours we will look after your dog like one of our own. Your dog will enjoy will enjoy the comfort of home surroundings with my own dogs and us for company. Your dog will be walked twice during the day included within this service and treats and water will be provided.

Dog Safaris
This service involves picking up your dog and several other dogs that are social and get along well to go out somewhere fun for the day. Places to visit will be Eastbourne Downs, Rye Nature Reserve, Friston Forest and Dungeness.

Dog safaris are once a month and will last the day (9.30am-3.30pm). Water and snacks are provided. The focus of this service is mental stimulation and social enjoyment for your dog.
