About Me/ Company

I’m a 20 year old university student carrying out a degree in Animal Behaviour and Welfare. During my childhood I was always around the family dogs and couldn’t imagine my life without my own little pup running around. My past and current experiences have formed my passion for correct and ethical dog breeding, training, care and handling.

Previous Experience

I am an experienced dog carer, walker and cuddlier due to working in the industry for four years.
As a child I would help walk and care for the family dogs, I transferred these skills during 2010 when I started my job at a kennels and cattery where with four other members of staff we cared for up to 45 dogs and 30 cats - never a dull day I can assure you.
I soon moved from the job role kennel maid to supervisor. This high responsibility filled job called for me to oversee and organise other members of staff, administer medication to animals in our care, work with customers by booking animals in and answering phone calls, to name a few. I continued to carry out my kennel maid jobs such as, cleaning each kennel and cattery pen, feeding the animals, walking the dogs and using basic dog training.

Qualifications & Training

National Diploma in Animal Management -
- carried out at Sparsholt College
- started in 2009 and completed in 2011
- I was awarded a triple distinction in Animal Management (this is the equivalent to A, A, A at A-levels)

BSc (Hons) Animal Behaviour and Welfare
- carried out at Merrist Wood College
- started in 2011 to be completed in 2014
- My grades will be awarded in the summer of 2014
