About Me/ Company

I am seeking employment in an animal industry because I have a passion for animals and I have the qualifications and experience to have a role in animal care.
I regularly go on walks down my local canal and I wouldn't mind having a four legged companian to keep me company or helping people exercise their dog.

Previous Experience

I have dog sitted my Aunt and Grandfather's dogs many time, A Afgan hound called Khan, and a staffordshire bull terrior called Max.

Voluntary Kennel Assistant February 2008 – May 2008
Rosedene Rescue Dog Centre, Rushall, Walsall
This was Voluntary, working one or two days a week. I walked the dogs, helped in food preparation, cleaned the kennels, helped in assessing behaviour of dogs, training dogs, showing visitors around and answered their questions.

Work experience Veterinary nurse September 2007 – January 2008
Bloxwich Veterinary Centre, Bloxwich, Walsall
This was a one week a month work experience placement, where I learned what it was like to work in a veterinary centre. I helped in cleaning the rooms, learnt how to make certain operation packs, watch operations and listen to animal heart beats.
