About Me/ Company

W.A.L.K. is individually run by Lauren Anderson. I have studied animal management in further education and have a Bachelors Degree with Honours in Animal Behaviour and Welfare. This has given me a wide range of knowledge and experience with many domestic animals.

W.A.L.K has a professional outlook for each and every customers needs and the welfare of their animals and will work with each person to provide exactly what they want.

The business is fully insured and holds a first aid certificate for cats and dogs.

W.A.L.K provides individuals with a tailored dog walking and pet service that can be either booked in advance or at short notice (if possible).


A free initial consultation to meet you and your pets before any services take place is given to discuss what you need from me.

Previous Experience

I, Lauren Anderson, am a professional dog walker and pet sitter. I have over ten years experience working with domestic animals, whether it be dogs and cats, to birds and exotics. I have dedicated my life to working in the animal industry by volunteering my time to local animal rescues and centres, dog obedience and agility.

I have recently completed a degree in Animal Behaviour and Welfare, which only helps when providing a service for owners, as it has given me a lot of knowledge and more experience in the domestic pet industry.

Other Services

Dog walking

Choose between 30 minutes and one hour walks in your local area. Prices start from £7.50.



Pet sitting

Your pet is taken care of while in their own home while the owner is away on holiday or away for the day. Two visits per day with a 30 minute walk for dogs. For dogs prices start from £12, any other pet £6, additional pets add £3.

Discounts for block bookings.



Dog day care

Your dog will be picked up at the beginning of the day and then returned at the end of the day. Dogs will not be placed in an activity centre, they will have my personal undivided attention. Prices start from £16.



​Puppy and kitten care
While you are away all day at work, there is no need to worry about your new arrival to the family. Feeding, watering, cleaning up messes, toilet breaks and of course play time! Prices £6 for 30 minutes.


Groomer trips

A pick up and drop off service to a qualified dog groomers.


Vet trips

A pick up and drop off service for owner and pet to veterinary appointments. For owners that cannot make it easily to the vets.
