About Me/ Company

Hi my name is Helen and I am the owner of wags2wishes. I set up the family company because I love animals in all shapes and sizes! I have owned dogs, cats and small animals all my life and have previously worked in a boarding and rescue kennels. I have a full CRB check, am fully insured and also a member of NARPS.

Wags2Wishes provide personalised dog walking and pet sitting services in the Medway area. Like people, we recognise that each dog or pet is unique and has a different personality and needs. We work hard with our clients and their pets to make sure that we meet their individual needs and requirements. As such we walk dogs individually or as part of a group and follow the dogs/pets normal routine during our home visits.

We take great care in our work with animals and pride ourselves on providing a great service for our customers. it is important to us that clients know that their dogs or pets are in safe and capable hands.

Dog Walking:

Some breeds of dog will become very disruptive and stressed if their needs are not met; we understand that different breeds and ages need different levels of activity. For example, our collie-cross needs around two hours of running a day whilst our aging basset hound is happy to plod for an hour (and sleep for the rest of the day!).

Our dog walking service is tailored for each dog; some will be happy to walk for an hour whilst others need a more active run chasing a ball or taking in the smells of a nearby meadow!


We are happy to walk your dog individually. Alternatively if your dog is sociable with other dogs then we can walk them with other friendly dogs so that they can enjoy interacting and playing with some doggy friends!


Please note: We will not walk aggressive dogs! The safety of the dogs we walk is paramount to us.

We are happy to incorporate your dog's favourite toy or training aids into our walks together. We will also follow any training routines that you currently have in place for your dog, to ensure consistency for both them and you.


We carry healthy, additive free, low fat treats as rewards for our doggy friends, as well as a fresh supply of water.

We walk dogs in all weathers and will use our own towels to dry your dog should they become wet and muddy. Water bowls will always be replenished upon returning from a walk.
