About Me/ Company

My name is Vicky, owner of 'Vicky's Pet Services' We offer dog walking, pet visits (dogs, cats and other small animals), puppy & adult dog training classes. We include basic training within the walks if clients would like so our walks our more interactive and we will mentally as well as physically wear your doggie out!

Previous Experience

I began my career working at the Blue Cross animal adoption centre in Bromsgrove where I worked as an Animal Welfare Assistant and Dog Behaviour Adviser for 5 years.

I started my own Puppy School training classes in 2008 and added adult class in 2010 when these were successful and there was demand for owners to continue their training.

My methods are strictly reward-based using food and toys for motivating dogs, and the welfare of any animal in my care is paramount so they are treated as though they were my own.

Qualifications & Training

Various in-house training courses on dog behaviour held through the Blue Cross.

I passed my training courses to become a qualified Puppy School tutor (www.puppyschool.co.uk) in 2008.

I passed my assessment to became a member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers (APDT) in 2011.

Attend regular seminars and courses; notably APBC and Ian Dunbar's latest and upcoming seminars.

Other Services

Dog home visits can be carried out if your dog is infirm or elderly.

Puppy visits for maintaining housetraining, exerting energy, socialisation, and company and cuddles.
