I have always dreamt of starting up my own dog walking/pet care business, and now forced redundancy is giving me that much needed push to get started.
In the New Year 2014, I will be offering the following services:
* Group/Individual Dog Walking

Previous Experience
I have grown up with small breed dogs and bought my first large breed dog when I was 17. My background is in the petcare industry. I attended agricultural college and have a BTEC ND in Animal care. I have managed a chain of pet shops, worked in kennels and catteries, a groomers, and have also done work experience in 2 vets practises.
I also have experience in dog walking and caring for cats whilst the owners are away.
Growing up, I kept a managerie of animals, dogs, rabbits, guinea pigs, gerbils, hamsters, rats, fish...... I have also hand reaered baby animals
Qualifications & Training
I attended agricultural college and have a BTEC ND in Animal care. I will also be taking part in a Canine First Aid Course in 2014
Relevant Info
When working full time I struggled to find anyone I was happy to hand my dog over to on a daily basis. Many walkers in the area, walk more than the council allows. Many walkers are not insured, or registered.....
I feel now is my opportunity to offer a service that pet owners can trust.
Owners need to feel happy about someone going into their house daily, and securing it back up again after the walk/visit.
Again, house sitting clients need to feel happy that they can trust the sitter.
Not only this, but all owners need to feel confident that their beloved pets are being cared for.
I am trustworthy, reliable, conscientious, caring, kind and an out going person.
I am fully insured and CRB checked.
