Urban pet crew is a local family owned business providing pet care in and around Basingstoke.
Our full menu of services is designed to suit every pet’s personality and requirements, whether it be dog walking, dog sitting, cat visits, small animal feeding, 'anything at all'.

Previous Experience

My name is Zoe and I started the urban pet crew this year. As a child I lived in the Cayman Islands and that is where my love of animals began. Our first dog Missie had been badly treated, and wouldn’t have won any beauty contests but had a charm all of her own. The next stray I took home was Sandy, a blonde shaggy dog, who would roam the streets for scraps until I persuaded my Mum to take her in. Since then we have had a menagerie of pets - cats, dogs, rabbits, hamsters and tortoises. As a teenager I worked at our local kennels and attended training classes with my dogs. For years I dreamt of working with animals on a daily basis. So, after 8 years working for the Surrey Coroner’s office I decided to pursue my dream and started the ‘urban pet crew’. My dog Lola and cat Indie are important members of my family. I understand the challenge it can be to make every day a great day for furry family members, even when life gets busy. I too, had to find sitters and dog walkers when we went on holiday or out for the day and I realise the trust you put in someone allowing them into your home and looking after a member of your family. I hope I can help you with that and can't wait to hear from you.

I am fully insured, police checked and I attended Animal Aiders First Aid Training Course on the 4th October 14

Relevant Info

My van is equipped for transporting dogs safely and securely. There is natural light and air circulation when travelling. Each crate has a fresh disposable pad replaced after each walk for comfort and hygiene

Other Services

Dog Walking
I drive to your home, pick up the dogs, and go for walks through Basingstoke's parks and trails.Time scheduled is allocated towards the following, as necessary: Putting on doggy jackets, leads on, practicing leaving the house calmly, walking, cleaning up when coming back.

Pet Visits
If your pet needs extra care during their regular routine, I can visit them to provide it. I can take them outside for an extra potty break, clean up their area, give them some social play and petting time, administer medication, whatever is needed. I can set up a schedule that goes with your routine on the days needed.
Your pets can stay at home while you're away, with pet care visits to keep them happy, healthy, comfy and safe.

Holiday Pet Care
During visits, pets receive the special and personalised care they're used to. I will follow your instructions, taking into account details like feeding times, potty routines, quirky behaviours, and favourite activities.

Typical visits include, according to your instructions:
Fresh food and water
Pet area and waste clean-up
Interactive play and petting time
Medication
Text message or email about how pets are doing
Mail and newspaper retrieval
Bins out on bin day
Security and other instructions

Pet Taxi
Transporting our pets isn't always easy, not everyone drives, not everyone wants their car covered in pet hair and taxi companies aren't always keen to help which makes a Pet Taxi service a very popular option, urban pet crew has a vehicle that is fitted with crates so your pet will be safe and secure.
