About Me/ Company

Animals need a lot of attention, love, and time to get their energy out. Life and work can be very busy for many and you don't always have the time you want to give your active pet. So, that's what I'm here for. I'm here to get all that rambunctious energy out so they are cuddly for you when you get home. I truly believe a happy pet is a tired-spoiled-rotten-loved pet.

I am an experienced pet owner living in Plymouth, Devon. I am also an enthusiastic hiker and I enjoy taking my dog off the beaten path to not only exercise her physically but also mentally. A change of scenery and exploring is great for dogs. It is important to give your animals that healthy balance of mental & physical exercise.

That's a little about me, let's talk about you! If you are looking for someone to care for your furry friends for whatever the reason, you have come to the right girl. I can't wait to meet you and your pets!

I am fully insured through Cliverton Insurance and also DBS (formally CRB) checked. Copies of both available on request.

I am also registered with the National Association of Registered Pet Sitters (NARPS UK) who are the trade association for the industry. NARPS sets the standards to be adhered to for the pet care industry.

You will deal with the same person every time, who cares as much about the human customers as she does about her four legged or feathered ones.

Trails and Tails provides a live in pet sitter staying overnight to care for your home and pets whilst you're away. My professional pet sitting service covers Plymouth and offers the best possible solution for your pets while you are away: the chance to stay in their own home and routine. Employing Trails and Tails to stay overnight offers a less stressful alternative to boarding kennels, home boarding or drop in cover especially for older, ill or rescue pets.

I will also see to the day-to-day upkeep of your property: including telephone answering, moving post, putting out bins and recycling, opening and closing curtains and watering plants.

Prices:
Rates from £25 a night (for up to 2 dogs and 2 cats)
More than 2 dogs and 2 cats extra animal supplement

You meet me in advance to ensure that both parties are happy

Other Services

Dog Walking

At Trails and Tails I will do a full full hour’s walk and pick up & drop off from your house are not included in this hour, making sure your dog is able to make the most of it’s time. If your dog needs an individual walk then this can be arranged. All dogs will be exercised on the lead unless your express permission is given. All dogs on a walk will wear a Trails and Tails tag whilst in my care.

Areas walked include Saltram Park, Cann Woods, Plymbridge Woods, Horsham Fields, Wembury and Bovis and Beaches and many many more!

A maximum of 4 dogs will be on any one group walk.

Prices:
£10 – 1 hour walk
£6 – 1 hour walk – 2nd dog from same family

Evening and weekend walks are available and can be arranged on an individual basis

Drop in Services

Do you have a busy day? Need to pop out for a few hours and can’t get back? Working late? If you need me to drop in to let out your cat, dog or look after any other family pets then a drop in visit can help. A 30 minute drop in visit can be also be helpful to a dog that is elderly or just doesn’t need that full hours walk any more.

Trails and Tails can offer care in your home for your pets, including dogs, cats, rabbits. rodents and most other small domestic pets, including exotics and small holder livestock. Providing company, cuddles, feeding or toileting. I can certainly help you with this and would be pleased to discuss any specific requirements, such as medication etc.
