Summary

Availability: I work part time, so walks need to finish at 7:30am on the days I am on a morning shift, and before 11am when I am on an afternoon shift. I can also do walks after 2:30pm on the days I work mornings and after 6pm when I work afternoon shifts. Tuesday's, Friday's, Saturday's and Sunday's I am fully flexible. Dog sitting and day time care are similar availability to spend time with pets.

? About Me
I’m Sophie, a lifelong animal lover who’s grown up with a wonderful mix of dogs — working cocker spaniels, border collies, lurchers, and lab–cocker mixes — as well as moggies, tabbys, and ragdoll mix cats. Being raised around such varied breeds has taught me how to understand different personalities, support different energy levels, and meet each animal’s unique needs.
For the past four months I’ve also been working in a doggy daycare, gaining hands on experience with pack management, enrichment, safety routines, and caring for dogs with all sorts of temperaments. I’m confident reading canine body language, supporting anxious or excitable dogs, and creating a calm, structured environment.


? What I Offer
I provide friendly, reliable pet sitting and dog walking tailored to your pet’s routine. Walks are available in 30, 45, or 60 minute sessions. Pet sitting visits can include feeding, playtime, toilet breaks, companionship, and basic training reinforcement. I’m also very comfortable caring for cats and can support their specific routines — whether that’s quiet companionship, playtime, or simply keeping their environment calm and predictable.

I follow clear safety practices at all times, including secure lead handling, controlled greetings, and careful monitoring of stress signals. Your pet’s wellbeing is always my priority.

? Medication & Special Care
I can confidently administer oral medication as part of your pet’s routine.
I do not administer injectable medication unless specific training or guidance has been provided.

I’m comfortable following detailed care instructions, including special diets, slow introductions, or behavioural management plans.

? In‑Home Care
Your pet will never be left alone during a booked visit.

If you’re looking for longer care, such as overnight stays or extended in home support, I’m very open to discussing this. Because I work Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, extended care would need planning to ensure it suits both your pet’s needs and my schedule. I’m much more flexible on Tuesdays, Fridays, evenings, and weekends.

Although I can’t host pets in my own home, I’m very happy to provide full day care within yours — a great option for dogs who thrive in familiar surroundings.

? Small Animals
While I don’t have direct experience with rats, ferrets, guinea pigs, or similar small animals, I’m more than happy to care for them with clear instructions. I’m confident following detailed routines and ensuring their safety and comfort.

? Communication
I send friendly “pup‑dates” via WhatsApp after each visit so you know exactly how things went — including how your pet seemed when I arrived and left, what we got up to, and any other important details. I want you to feel fully reassured and connected while you’re away.

? My Approach
Calm, patient, and genuinely caring. I want your pets to feel safe, understood, and loved while you’re away. I treat every animal as an individual, and my goal is always to make their time with me feel positive, predictable, and comforting.

Previous Experience

I currently work part time in a doggy-daycare, and I have grown up taking care of a variety of dog breeds for myself and family.
