About Me/ Company
I am a professional Dog Walker covering Cromer, Overstrand, Sidestrand, Trimingham, Mundesley, Bacton and Walcott. In addition to dog walking, I can offer home visits and dog sitting in their own home. I am fully insured, DBS checked i.e. this is a process which checks the criminal background of an individual and I have completed the level 2 and level 3 Pet First Aid Courses.
Dog walking is a new business for me and brings together my enjoyment of walking and my love of dogs. I grew up with dogs and have owned dogs, big and small, throughout my adult life. I currently have a year old Toy Poodle x Border Terrier that I take to weekly training classes, and I walk two Airedales and a Toodle on a regular basis. I vary the walks from one day to the next in order to keep the dogs stimulated and interested.
Prior to signing up with me, I think it is really important that we meet and discuss your dog's needs, their personality and what your hopes are in employing a dog walker/sitter. Whilst I am not a dog trainer, I am able to reinforce desired behaviours and use the commands that they are familiar with. It is also really important that I know about their behaviour on and off a lead so that I can keep them and others safe whilst out walking.
The walks will be one-to-one and not group walks, unless you own more than one dog and wish them to be walked together. There will still be opportunities for your dog to socialise with other dogs and people if this is something you would like.
The law requires that all dogs out in public must wear a collar and a tag, with the owner's name and address (telephone number is optional). Whilst in my care, they will wear an additional tag with my name and telephone number on it.

Previous Experience
As stated I grew up with dogs and have owned a number of dogs throughout my adult life. Since starting my business in September, I have walked 15 different dogs from Chihuahua size to Airedale size.
Qualifications & Training
I have passed level 2 & 3 Pet First Aid courses.
