About Me/ Company

The Sussex Dog Retreat is luxurious property and gardens on the edge of the South Downs in Eastbourne. We offer home boarding for dogs but don't take in more than four dogs at a time to ensure al our dogs get the best attention. Dogs will get 2 long hikes a day and plenty of games and stimulation in my beautiful large garden. l also offer dog walks catered for the active dog or for the older dog who is not quite so energetic. l offer different walks for my dog customers to keep them stimulated eg. woodland runs, beach walks etc. l can walk dogs in a pack or walk a dog on it's own if the owner prefers.
My dog crèche is based at my home in my large gardens where l offer fun and stimulating games. l am also building a dog agility course on site. From July l will also have my dog grooming salon on site at The Sussex Dog Retreat. l have trained to Level 3 City And Guilds where l have been trained to do 7 point health checks plus training in dog behaviour. Dog's in my care get the exercise they need, stimulating games , the best in grooming and pampering and finally lots of love and cuddles.

Previous Experience

l have owned several dogs. l have done dog training courses and finish my level 2 and 3 City and Guilds Dog Grooming Certificate at the end of July 2014. On this course l have done dog first aid and learnt about dog behaviour .

Qualifications & Training

From July l will have achieved my City and Guilds certificate in Dog Grooming.

l have a deep love and understanding for the needs of dogs and The Sussex Dog Retreat is my dream, something l want to dedicate the rest of my life to. In the future l want to keep training in all things to do with dogs.
