About Me/ Company

The Lead Lady

I set up this service after leaving teaching to pursue my love of animals, especially dogs and of course walking. Although quite different from teaching pupils, I benefit from that experience because I am very calm, caring and patient. I have also had nine years experience in a previous career working with animals in a veterinarian setting as well as training working dogs. I am therefore experienced in handling dogs of different temperaments as well as dealing with many medical conditions and administering medication. I have kept German Shepherds previously as pets and currently have a Bichon Frise.
The Lead Lady strives to provide a safe, stimulating environment for all dogs during walks and all other services that we provide. We will provide stimulating care and exercise which promotes your dog’s social skills, physical fitness and mental health, whatever their age, breed, or ability. Our aims are to support each owner’s effort and desire to provide the most enjoyable experiences for their dog.
