About Me/ Company

I am an experienced and professional (member of the National Association of Pet Sitters & Dog Walkers) dog walker/daycare, pet sitter, foster and home boarder. Although operating in the Southampton area, I can home board and provide doggy daycare to dogs from all areas that are willing to travel to me.

Previous Experience

I grew up on a small-holding looking after cows, sheep, horses, cats and dogs - every single one was a beautiful soul! I have owned many animals over the years, especially dogs such as Labradors, Old English Sheep Dogs, Huskies and Malamutes.

All my pets have been rescue animals so I am used to the challenging behaviours which that can sometimes bring with it. I am a fosterer for Heart Welfare and also Saints Sled Dog Rescue - helping to transition homeless dogs.

I am just embarking on the British College of Canine Studies Diploma in Canine Behaviour to be able to enhance my understanding of dogs.

Well what can I say other than THANK YOU! I have two huskies, one of which came through rescue and can be difficult to deal with. We have tried many dog sitters and through no fault of their own have not been able to take our rescue. Well, we have found our saviour! The Hounds of Fun were outstanding in understanding and delivering on both of our dogs needs, quirks, odd food requirements and sometimes difficulties. The photos and reports given throughout and at the end of the stay made us so happy our dogs were clearly having as much of a holiday as us! Jackie is wonderful with our crazy Nox! He absolutely looooves her and I can feel super relaxed when he's out with her as I know he's well looked after, won't get up to any nonsense, and most importantly: has such fun! We left Finley with Jackie and the hounds of fun for a long weekend and he had a fabulous time. He did not move all afternoon and evening on his return, I think it's safe to say he was well and truly pooped. I really loved the daily Facebook updates as it let us see how happy he was and how much fun he was having with his new friends while we were away and the report card at the end is a lovely idea. My Rosie has just spent a long weekend with Jackie and I couldn't be happier. Rosie has been asleep and hasn't moved since being home which is proof she's had a wonderful time as it takes a lot to keep my girl still for so long!!
