About Me/ Company

The handy pair pet services will look after your pet in our home while you enjoy a break. We can pet sit in owners home. Walk your dogs and visit your pet in your home to put fresh food and water down. Change litter trays, play with your pet and any other requirements.
My name is Sarah and I live in Canterbury. I have a BTEC diploma in animal care and management. My passion has always been to work with animals.
I have worked in an animal park. Where I learnt a lot about animals needs and behaviours.
I currently walk two dogs as their owners do not have the time. The dogs really enjoy there walks across fields and through the woods and steams, which is a great way for them to cool down on a hot day and to grab a drink.. I also take them to the seaside for a splash about with a floatable dummy for them to catch. They are walked for an hour. I pick them up in my own vehicle and drop them home very content.
I have a springer spaniel who is 6years old he is great with other dogs, children and people he is very well trained and a pleasure to have. I love dogs and cats they have such a great character and they are all different.
You can have peace of mind your companion will be well cared for and exercised while you can relax and enjoy your holiday
I prefer to look after your pet in my own home but I will house sit if you are local to Canterbury for short periods of time.

Previous Experience

I walk two collies ollie and sky once a week as their owners are unable to. They have become great friends and really enjoy there walks together once a week.
I also house sit or look after dogs for the day.
I have looked after a shih tzu cross frankie for the day while his owner was at work as he has separation anxiety when left alone and his usual carer was up available.
I have house visited a cat called Tibby to feed and put fresh water down and change litter tray. She is used to being left alone for long periods of time so she doesn't require to much attention.
Iv looked after a little jack Russell Jackco in my own home, while his owners were away on holiday. He was ever so good and enjoyed the company of my springer spaniel badger.
I have looked after a cavalier Charlie for 6days while his owner was away. He was such a pleasure to have and he enjoyed his walks and cuddles on the sofa in the evening.

Other Services

If your pet stays with us for a few days we will take lots of pictures of there stay and put them onto a cd for you to keep. We will also keep a daily diary so you can see all the exciting things they have been up to.
We offer a pick up and drop of service for your pet for your convenience.
We also offer a meet and greet service with you and your pet so you can meet us and so we can find out all about your pets requirements likes and dislikes.
