The Doggy Army is a dog walking and pet care service based in Shropshire. We offer a professional, reliable, insured and qualified quality service to suit your needs and requirements for flexibility.
I started my pet care business simply out of the love of animals and their innocence and my enjoyment of working outside and enjoying what is around me.
Previous Experience
I have 2 years experience in pet care and dog walking as a profession but many years being involved with animals whether they are my pets or fostering rescue dogs and cats. I love walking dogs but aside from that I also have experience with aquatics, reptiles, rabbits and guinea pigs, birds and rodents.
Qualifications & Training
My qualifications are a Diploma in dog walking and pet care, Diploma in animal psychology, Diploma in animal nutrition and also a Diploma in animal injury and first aid.
I also have a Diploma for dog grooming although I currently don't offer this full service.
Relevant Info
Before I take on any work, i offer a free meet and greet. I like to meet your pets, find out lots about them and discuss exactly what your needs are. This also gives me an opportunity to become antiquated with your pet so they get to know who will be visiting them.
Currently, I am only offering solo walks for dogs, I conduct all meet and greets outside or in the garden and I always wear my PPE.
Other Services
The range of services I can offer are dog walking, doggy day care, dog boarding (I am licensed for 2 dogs and I don't use cages or isolation).
Home visits if you are out for the day, at work, away for the weekend or a holiday to feed, clean, fuss and play with your pets that are better staying at home. (Multiple visits to your home per day if required).
I offer pet taxi for vet visits and a spruce up service which gives your dog a dry shampoo, brush and comb, ear clean, nail clip, toothbrush (if pooch will let me) and a hygiene trim.
