At The Dog Lady, we understand that entrusting your dog's care to someone else can be worrying for any owner. As life-long dog owners, we know how important it is to select the right care. You can be assured that your dog will be in the best possible hands. Not only are we fully insured and disclosure checked, but Laura also holds a pet first aid certificate.

The Dog Lady subscribes to a positive, evidence-based model of animal care. This means that we never use punitive methods or equipment, and that not only will your dog's physical health and exercise be taken care of, but their well-being is also our priority.

Previous Experience

The Dog Lady is a dog walking and care business run by Laura Hall.

Laura has worked with, bred and cared for animals of all shapes and sizes for over 15 years. She has volunteered in veterinary practice, dog shelters and farms, and has dedicated her career to the welfare and training of dogs. Laura has a degree in Psychology, with an honours project focusing on the welfare of shelter dogs, and a PhD in Animal Welfare Science, both from the University of Stirling.
