About Me/ Company

I am an experienced dog owner and have kept mainly terriers for the last 30+ years, mostly Staffs and Staff X's.

I am calm and confident, have a good basic knowledge of dog health, nutrition and wellbeing, and have a good basic understanding of dog emotional and psychological health and needs.

I do not have insurance, but would be very willing to look into this. I cannot accommodate a dog at home (Landlord rules permit my own dog only) but am willing to travel to care for dogs and other animals if required.

My own dog is a rescued Staff type X, who came to me at four years old, with several 'issues', particularly around other dogs. She is now a friendly little girl aged 10 and whilst still shows some anxiety on the odd occasion, is a well adjusted girl.

I hope these comments might secure me some work doing what I love!

Relevant Info

I believe I am a witty, quick minded person! I love to chat, knit, listen to The Archers and have a wonderful family with one granddaughter and another grand baby on the way. My only son is a Corporal in the Royal Marines and I enjoy visiting with him and his family.

I like tidiness, cooking, Sudoku and generally being with people and especially dogs! I believe myself to be a kind and considerate person.

Other Services

I would be happy to dog / house sit and care for other animals. I am a quiet lady who enjoys a simple lifestyle. I am a car owner with a clean licence.

I can provide CRB checks if required though this might take a few weeks to organise as I'm not sure how to go about it! I have had many clean CRB checks in the past when I have worked in the Public Sector as a senior manager in Care provision for older people.
