About Me/ Company

My name is Tanya and I am just starting out in the dog world. I was brought up surrounded by animals, namely dogs and cats. I have always loved animals, large or small, furry or scaly! At present I have seven(!) cats and one sulcata tortoise. In the future I hope to add to my family a rottweiler puppy!

Previous Experience

For the last five years I have been volunteering at the Wildlife Heritage Foundation (WHF) based in Kent. WHF is a charity that specialises in breeding big cats, as well as promoting the plight of all wild cat species. I was responsible for feeding, cleaning and maintenance of animal enclosures; creating enrichment activities; conducting visitor tours of facility; conducting/briefing programmes for ‘Rangers’.

I am currently sitting in on puppy training classes with a dog trainer based in Twickenham. This is to complement the course I am currently studying - Basic Dog Handling & Training Skills.
