About Me/ Company

Tails & Trails Dog Walking & Pet Services is based in Peterborough offering pet services in and around the surrounding areas. We are professional, fully insured by Cliverton Insurers and DBS checked.
We offer;
- one-to-one walks
- group walks with up to 4 dogs
- 30 minute walks
- 1 hour walks
- home pop in service
- overnight/holiday pet sitting
- weekend and bank holiday services
🐶 We meet every dog before we walk them and offer a complimentary 15 minute introductory walk for us to get to know one another.
🐶 As standard each dog will be towel dried, have their paws cleaned and given fresh water after every walk.
🐶 We can support you in training your dog by using commands and techniques consistent with yours and help to develop their sociability and exposure to a variety of settings.
🐶 We will notify you when your dog has been collected and returned, and deliver real time updates and photos of your furry friend having fun.
🐶 Through rain and shine we're always up for having a good time and we do not cancel visits due to moderate weather conditions, however may adapt visits accordingly.

Tails & Trails Dog Walking & Pet Services offers an exceptionally personalised service. We pride ourselves on our friendly and compassionate approach. Our ethos is to treat every pet in our care with the love and discipline we would show our own pets and the care we would expect them to receive. We have been inspired by our love for our own furry pals and our desire to help others keep theirs happy and healthy. Our services aim to provide an extension of your rearing approach and align with your expectations and disciplines. Each service is tailored to meet both yours and your pet’s exact requirements and we strongly believe that working with your pets is a privilege and a joy.

Prior to using our services there will be an initial meeting for us to get to know you, your dog and discover how we can provide the best care possible. After every meeting there will be some paperwork for you to complete and you will receive a complimentary 15 minute walk for us to bond with your furry friend. You will be given a profile based on the information you have given us about your dog and based on our judgement, so that we can keep this as a record to refer to in order to be consistent with our care. This will detail your dogs care package. In addition to this you will also receive a pet journal to enable you to keep up to date with your dog’s activity and behaviours. We will also notify you if we observe anything unusual or have any concerns.

On every walk we carry fresh water, treats, biodegradable waste bags, mini first aid kit and phone in case of emergencies.

With your consent, we take dogs to a variety of different places to enable them to explore new environments and enjoy new settings and scents. However, ultimately we are guided by your preferences and we are happy to walk them in places of your choice.

Depending on the type of place we visit and the weather, depends on whether or not your pooch comes back pristine or not! So, after every walk, each dog will have their paws cleaned and towel dried. They will also be given fresh water and we are happy to carry out any other reasonable requests that you may have. At the end of each visit you can catch up on how their time with us has been by reading their activity tracker journal. You can also keep up to date with them via WhatsApp providing your consent.

Please note that often dogs will be travelling in the car to reach some destinations and will be suitably restrained for both the dogs and the driver’s safety.
