About Me/ Company

We are Swift Walking, a professional dog walking service based in the East end of Glasgow, dedicated to providing a fantastic service for you and your dogs. Dogs are picked up from your home and taken to a local park where they are walked for an hour. Not only will it ease your dog's day (and your mind!), it will also help socialise your dog with others.
Our aim is to ensure your dog has the best walk possible, playing with its favourite toy, as well as excercising.
Walks are delivered by myself, Daytona, an ex-vet student with excellent knowledge and experience with all pets and, of course, a passion for animals! I started Swift Walking as I wanted a job working closer to animals in a way where I am working with them, rather than on them.
Dog walking benefits your dog in many ways. Of course your dog is exercised but a long walk can also be the cure to unwanted behaviour like being destructive. Unwanted behaviour can be caused by an excess of energy or even boredom and, so, giving your dog a break whilst your out may help!

One Hour Group Walk - £9/walk
One Hour Private Walk - £12/walk
Student/Concession - £8/walk
If booking in blocks the price will be discounted, e.g. book a block of ten walks (should be £90) and get it for £75 (must be paid in advance).

Being an ex-vet student I have experience with many different animals in many situations and, so, you know your pet is in good hands with us.

Relevant Info

Our services don't just stop at walking and sitting your pet. We also run a pet taxi service for emergency's where you have no other way to take your beloved pet to the vets. Rates depend on journey and waiting time.

Overnight Dog Sitting
Ever been stuck with no one to watch your dog? Swift Walking can help! We offer overnight dog sitting. This can either be at our home with our two Border Collies who are both friendly for £15 or we can arrange it at your own home for £15 also. Both include one long walk at night and an early morning walk (usually around half an hour) in the morning. If you'd rather leave your dog at your own home we entertain and care for him/her until a bed time that you decide on. You can trust us in your home but, if you would rather, give your keys to a neighbour and we'll collect them. 

Emergency Overnight Dog Sitting
This can be bought as an emergency service where you may not be able to get home one night for £20. Let Swift Walking help you.

Dog Boarding
If you're looking to book your dog for more than one night, small dogs are charged at £12 per night and medium/large dogs are £14 per night. Discounts apply for more than one dog.

Day Care
Allow your dog to spend most of the day with myself and other dogs for only £15. This includes an hour group walk.

We also pet sit small animals, such as rabbits, rats, hamsters, guinea pigs, birds etc. at very reasonable rates. The first night is £3/animal and then only £2/night afterwards. Your pet will receive lots of love and attention between walks from myself, as well as from my partner.
