About Me/ Company

I'm a 25 year old Portugueses girl who has a university degree in Languages and Business. I'm currently living in Crouch End where I work as an au pair for a family of 5. As an au pair I do the drop off and picking up of the children from school and make sure they're ok once they get home in the afternoon. It's a lovely job that leaves me plenty of time in the mornings and holidays to do as I wish, and considering my absolute favorite things in the world are children and dogs, I thought about complementing my day with some dogwalking. I'm 100% available for interviews or meetings so you can get to know me.

Previous Experience

I've had dogs in my life since I was 8. I'm literally one of those people who can't go to the park without stopping every 2 min to pet the dogs there. I feel very comfortable around dogs, tiny, small, large or xxl.. I have confidence dealing with them in a public busy setting where there are lots of distractions too. Even though, I haven't done dogwalking professionally before, because in Portugal that's not a thing, I'm more than eager to have some canine friends in the UK. Non-judgemental and unconditionally loving, dogs are the best kind of pals!

Qualifications & Training

I have a university degree with an exchange year in the University of Nottingham, I studied languages so I'm fluent in English, Spanish and of course, my mother language, Portuguese. I'm working as an au pair at the moment and it has been wonderfully challenging to organise my time to attend to all my responsibilities and make the most out of my day. Just like looking out for the children in the afternoon is fun and rewarding, spending some hours in the morning with dogs would make it perfect! I'm patient, trustworthy, honest, if I suspect something's off about the dog I'll let you know immediately. And even though, I don't have any previous experience as a dog walker, I love dogs very much. Since my old dog, and best friend, Clow, passed last Christmas I've been missing spending time with some of those furry beans. I'll meet you any day of the week or weekend for you to introduce me to your little friend so we can see if we're a match.
