About Me/ Company
I live in a ground floor flat (converted house with just an upstairs and downstairs flat) with a large secluded garden close to a park (with a duck pond, which my dog used to swim in during the summer months). I live alone and would be happy to have a dog in my home and would be happy to sit in the animals home but I work Monday to Friday 9 - 5. I work 5 minutes walk from home so am able to go home lunch times to spend time with the dog and let them out in the garden. I am comfortable around more than 1 dog but I do not think it would be suitable to have more than 1 in my home unless they were small. I have worked for the NHS for 10 years and do voluntary youth work one evening a week.
Previous Experience
I lost my dog of 14 years last March. Whilst I am not ready to replace her, I am missing the love of a dog, as I have been around them all my life, and find myself asking for a fuss if an owner says it is okay to approach their dog in the street. I am also missing my regular daily walks/exercise.
This leads me to looking at dog walking/sitting to fill a personal need but also to have a good fuss of other people's and look at different breeds and natures until I am ready to have another dog of my own.
I looked after 2 cats in my home recently for 6 months and, whilst I loved them, my passion is more for dogs.
Having been around dogs since an early age I find it easy to recognise their behaviour and needs, such as when they want to go out, need some fuss or just want to rest. I am comfortable around giving medication if needed and would be more than happy to provide updated photo's of your dog in my care for your peace of mind.
