Hi I’m Steph! Mummy to one gorgeous little boy & dog mum to my rescue dog Bambi. Having worked in mental Health for 7 years I made the decision to take the leap & begin my own independent dog walking & pet sitting service, I have had a lifelong passion for all animals great & small and consider it a great privilege to care for your beloved pet in your absence. Our rescue dog Bambi is undeniably one of the greatest loves of my life, second to my son & partner of course! Here at Steph’s Steps I appreciate the need for a trustworthy, reliable & caring individual for your pet related needs.

Previous Experience

I have had the privilege to grow up around animals, dogs in particular and would consider my lived experience of being a dog owner one of my most important when it comes to doing what I do, well. It is this experience that enables me to know exactly what I would be looking for if I required a dog sitter or walker, a genuine passion for animals, a kind caring nature and reliability.

Home Visits
Are you concerned with how your pet will adapt to being alone again once lockdown restrictions lift? If you believe your pet would benefit from a home visit I would be happy to help! Prices starting from as little as £5 you can relax knowing your beloved pet is enjoying some TLC and a toilet break while you’re at the office (or pub). These visits are perfect for puppies and un-neutered dogs who are otherwise unable to attend a day care setting. These services can be offered on a regular or one off basis.

Dog Walking
Are you looking for a friendly and reliable dog Walker? If so look no further! Come rain or shine your four legged friend will be in excellent hands as we explore some of Chester's best dog walks together. I offer 30 or 60 minute Solo walks as well as a range of packages to tend to your dog while you are away from the home, these packages are perfect for puppies and un-neutered dogs who are unable to attend a day care setting.. These services can be offered on a regular or one off basis.

Small Pet Sitting
After the year we’ve had everyone deserves a little holiday. Whether you’re planning on going abroad or pitching a tent in the UK, don’t let trying to find an appropriate pet sitter cause you further stress! Having cared for all kind of animals from Cockatiel’s to Guinea Pigs to African Snails, I will happily and confidently care for your beloved pet in your absence. Following from you care instructions I will ensure to meet every need and will be sure to send you regular photo updates!
