Hi, my name is Steph and I own a female golden retriever. I am passionate about dogs and love dog walking, tracking, agility and training.
Looking after dogs is something I absolutely love doing.
Previous Experience
I have owned two dogs. My current dog is a female gold retriever who is 7 years old, Maisy. I rescued her and spent the best part of 2 years turning her into a 'normal' dog.
Maisy didn't know what water was, or a ball, or know how to play. I had to show her what it meant to be a dog, not just a breeding queen. She went through horrendous separation anxiety that broke my heart. Fortunately, three years later she is a changed dog. She's loyal, friendly and very well behaved.
My first dog was a puppy german shepherd. I puppy walked this dog, Isla, for the Police. I helped to train her, teaching her agility, swimming, tracking, obedience etc. She's now an incredible Police dog (so I've heard).
