About Me/ Company

We provide professional pet care services for Stonehouse, Larkhall, Strathaven, Lanark and surrounding areas in South Lanarkshire. We cater for most animals, large or small, and can provide individual personalised care. Our services include dog walking, home visits, administration of medication, horse sitting, horse and dog training and much more.

Amanda is an experienced positive horse trainer and coach, and has been a qualified positive dog trainer since 2008. She offers services to suit all your needs.

SERVICES

Dog Walking
We offer a range of dog walking services to meet your needs. Amanda usually walks each dog individually. That way she can be sure they get all the attention, play and training required from Amanda on each walk. If you prefer to have your dog walked with another dog, or you have more than one dog in a household we can arrange for them to be walked together.

Walks are up to an hour long, longer if needed, and all dogs will be kept on lead unless specific written consent is obtained for off lead play.

Home Boarding - Dog Days Out
We are able to board your dogs (up to 2) at our home in Stonehouse, South Lanarkshire. They will be part of our day to day life and will be socialised, we will play with them regularly and even do some training. We have a secure garden, and they can come walking with us.

Dog Training
Amanda can help you with training your dog. She offers 1-2-1 training sessions at a venue that suits you, your dog and the behaviours you would like to focus on. Amanda specialises in teaching lifeskills to help you connect better with your dog to prevent pulling on the lead, to help you enjoy walks with your dog, be sure of a recall and more.

Cat Home Visits
We can visit your home up to 4 times a day. Many people do not like the idea of using catteries whilst they are away, and so we offer the perfect solution. We will spend up to an hour with your cats, playing, feeding, grooming etc. We also offer additional options such as plant watering, opening and closing of curtains and collection of post all free of charge.

Horses, Ponies and other Pet
Amanda also offers a horse sitting service. She will stick to your horses routine as much as possible while you are away. The service provided depends on what you need and is tailored to suit; mucking/skipping out, turnout, bringing in, legs washed, feeding etc.

If you need your horse brought in for the vet or farrier (or other professional) Amanda can be there to do that for you.

House Sitting
If you prefer not to leave your house empty while you are away we can arrange to stay at your house with your pets.

PRICES
Dog walking from £9 for a half hour walk, and £15 for an hours walk, per dog
(discounts for multi dog households/walks)
Home boarding - £15 per day (9am to 6pm), £25 per 24h period
Home Visits (for Cats and Small Pets) – from £9 per half hour visit
Horse and Pony Care – from £15 per hour
House Sitting – from £30 per day
Mileage outside a 5 mile radius of ML9 3QY will be charged at 50p per mile
