About Me/ Company

My name is Sophie, i am 18 years old and have a passion for animals. I am currently unemployed but have the responsibility of caring for my 3 year old sister 3 times a week, so I am trying to find something to work around them hours.

I have always wanted a dog, so this is perfect for me. Although I am not allowed a pet myself my mum has agreed to let me do this.
I am available to start immediately.

Qualifications & Training

I studied Level 3 Extended Diploma in Animal Managment at Writtle College for a year and a half but due to personal issues was unfortunately unable to finish.

During my time at Writtle I was awarded a distinction grade for the majority of my practical assessments.

Other Services

To get my place at Writtle College I had to volunteer at an animal based workplace.
I chose my local RSPCA centre where I had to care for dogs and cats.
The duties included;
- cleaning the kennels/catteries throughly
- making sure the animals had the correct diet, quantity of food and fresh water
- that each dog was walked safely and wearing the correct equipment (e.g. harness, muzzle)
- that both the cats and dogs were socialised and happy
