About Me/ Company

I am a passionate dog and animal lover who cares completely about animal welfare and the happiness of the owners. I love the outdoors, am great with animals as I have had both academic and practical based experience with animals of all kinds. I have a owned dogs all my life and at the moment I have a lovely and affectionate Staffordshire Bull terrier cross Rhodesian Ridgeback, as well as an 18 year old cat and a Corn snake. My biggest passion is animals and I have wanted to work with them from the age of 3 years old. As well as having a huge passion for domestic animals, I also have a passion for birds of prey and falconry.

Previous Experience

I have studied on the Level 3 Extended Diploma in Animal Management at Reaseheath College and have gained not only a vast academic knowledge of animals (both exotic and domestic) but also a practical based knowledge that has been obtained by doing voluntary work and work experience as a part of my course. I have worked with domestic dogs at college, walking and grooming them as well as doing training sessions with them. I have gained 1 year and 8 months work experience at Kingsley Bird and Falconry Centre and have passed my Lantra Award in Beginner's Falconry, making me a qualified falconer. I have officially trained multiple birds of prey from chicks, including Harris's hawks, Great Horned owls, Malaysian Wood owls and Boobook owls. The training and handling methods I have used for birds of prey are also used by myself to help train and socialise dogs, such as bringing them into new environments and getting them used to them through positive reinforcement. I always walked my own dog through Rudyard Track, near Leek and I have also gained experienced dog sitting for a friend of my parent's (a Staffordshire Bull Terrier female named Luna) as part of my babysitting job for her.
