About Me/ Company

Hi! My name is Sophie, and I am 21 years old from Reading, Berkshire.
I have just recently completed my undergraduate BSc Biochemistry degree from the University of Southampton in May 2020, and now have a lot of time on my hands!
I have lived around dogs my whole life, and love being in their company! I enjoy going for long walks and finding new routes to explore.

Previous Experience

Throughout my childhood, my family have owned many pets including two Syrian hamsters and a Bichon Frise who we had for 11 years, as well as countless goldfish. I currently own a 6 month old Syrian hamster called Jimmy. Furthermore, my parents have previously boarded dogs in our house. However, my love for animals is in no way limited to my own pets: I have fed my next-door neighbour’s two cats for over a year whilst their owner is at work and on holiday, as well as walking my elderly neighbour’s dog (4 year old Shih Tzu) and my grandad’s dog (9 year old chocolate Labrador) on a daily basis. In addition to this, other neighbours will occasionally contact me to see if I am available to walk their dogs, hence showing my reliability and independence. My neighbours feel that I am trustworthy enough to let myself into their house when they are not there, through providing me with my own set of keys. I also have experience in caring for budgies, parakeets, rabbits and guinea pigs

Qualifications & Training

I have a full, clean driving license, and have my own car.

Other Services

I am also more than happy to holiday sit and overnight at the owners home.
