About Me/ Company

Hi There !
My name is Sophie and I am 21 years old. I study zoology at Aberdeen university and have previously studied animal management at Otley college. I have a passion for animals, especially dogs of all breeds ! I am friendly and responsible and I can be flexible with my time. If your away from the house during these hot summer days or going on holiday for a couple of weeks then i'm the person for you ! I can offer dog sitting and walking as well as any other ways in which I can help out ! I am very experienced in working with animals and I had a Tebtian terrier of my own until a couple of years ago. I am willing to discuss a wage and would also be happy to commit to regular days !

Previous Experience

At college we would regularly walk the dogs and help to groom them. I also had my own dog for 5 years whom I walked and cared for on a regular basis. In the past I have also helped out friends and family by walking and sitting their pets.

Qualifications & Training

Education
2010 – 2014 BSC (Hons) Zoology, University of Aberdeen
Various courses were studied in depth as part of the degree including: Animal ecology, Conservation biology and Animal behaviour. External courses from the degree included a 6th century course, humans and other animals and a course in career development, which looked at improving employability skills.

2008- 2010 Otley College, Ipswich, Suffolk
National diploma level 3 in animal management – Triple distinction
Small qualification for vet nursing and genetics – Merit
