About Me/ Company

I am currently a zookeeper of nearly two years at the Tropical Butterfly House in Sheffield, North Anston. My biggest passion in life has always been animals and any time spent with them is time well spent. I love walking and me and my partner often hike through the Peak District on our days off. However, most of my days off are weekdays (as I work most weekends) and I hate to waste these days and the lovely scenery and countryside Sheffield has to offer by being stuck inside, and although I do go exploring by myself, I always long for a dog to be by my side. Unfortunately, due to living in a rented flat, we can not own a dog just yet, so this would be a lovely alternative; to provide this service whilst spending time with a wonderful pooch and getting exercise all at the same time.

Previous Experience

I have never owned my own dog, but I do care for animals for a living and I have always jumped at the chance to take my friends/family's dogs out on walks.

Qualifications & Training

Bsc degree in Zoology - many of the modules were about animal behaviour, one very specifically about dog training which is where my interest stemmed from. I do hope one day to become a dog trainer for blind, deaf and disabled people.

Relevant Info

I usually have two days off a week which change on a rotational basis, so for somebody who is flexible for their dog(s) to be walked on different days, I would be perfect. I could also walk them in the evenings if need be straight from work.
