Whether it's a planned family holiday or a weekend away, the thought of your beloved dog staying in kennels can be as distressing for you as it is for your dog, our home boarding service provides a safe and caring home to look after your dog whilst you are away.

Or perhaps your busy work and family commitments don't allow you to give your dog the exercise and stimulation it craves, then our doggy day care service could work perfectly for you.

Your dog will live in our home as part of our family. They will receive at least two countryside walks per day along with plenty of playtime in our secure garden. We have divided different secure patio areas so that shy, quiet, older or just more chilled out dogs can have some peace away from those dogs who just love to be on the go all the time.

Once walks and playtime has been enjoyed, dogs settle down for a well earned rest in our newly converted dog room. When batteries have been charged we head back out for another run in the countryside ensuring we return for Day Care dogs to be collected and our Home Boarders to get settled in front of the log burner for the evening.

Previous Experience

I had a wonderful childhood with our family dogs, like so many people I desperately wanted to share my life with a dog of my own. However, having enjoyed a successful career in Education for 15 years as a PE teacher, my work commitments didn't allow me to provide the time and care I wanted for my own dog. One day whilst surfing the net, I stumbled across a website offering 'Doggy Day Care'; until then, I had no idea such a service existed. This discovery, followed by the realisation that I could indeed fulfill my dream of sharing my life with my own dog, was fantastic!

With the introduction of Henry, our 1 year old boxer, into our lives we were happiest at the weekends taking him on fantastic countryside walks, often picking up our friends' dogs for more doggy fun. During school holidays I started spending days with Henry at his Doggy Day Care, enjoying their walks and caring for Henry's pals, I absolutely loved it; it combined my love of animals with my active outdoor lifestyle that I'd enjoyed as a PE teacher.

I then started caring for dogs in my school holidays and quickly realised that this was something I wanted to do full time. So I made the decision to quit my career, move my family from Oxfordshire to beautiful West Yorkshire, and set up my own Doggy Day Care and Home Boarding service.
