About Me/ Company
I‘m a 66 year old semi retired,animal loving, fit and active woman with many years‘ experience in caring for varieties of animals. I am a long term homeowner and I‘m honest, reliable,competent, clean and tidy and have great respect for other people‘s homes and belongings. With house and pet sitting, I can enjoy my love of travelling and meeting new people and seeing new places, while staying in comfortable homes with the bonus of lovely pets as companions, while giving them lots of attention and care.
Previous Experience
I was brought up on a dairy farm, so am used to farm animals including cattle, horses, pigs, goats, poultry, ducks,cats and dogs,
and during my married life we‘ve also kept many of these animals at various times, including rabbits, guinea pigs and small birds, and until recently, we had 2 little Jack Russels (died aged 17 and 16 respectively), but still have cats, guinea pigs and birds.
I‘m a very hands on person who doesn‘t mind getting her hands dirty. I do all my painting and decorating and minor maintenance at home and often do some gardening at home, to keep it all looking nice.
Qualifications & Training
I have no actual qualifications..just very many years of experience. I have a good standard of education, having passed my 11 plus to the local College and attained 5 O levels, including Maths, French and English!I am a carer, so have also spent many years looking after people of all ages..from babies to the elderly!
Relevant Info
I am a car driver (since I was 17), but for any sitting assignments, I would be using planes, trains and coaches or buses, so would like places which have shops and facilities which are within reasonable walking distance, or a relatively short bus ride away.
I do have work references and an enhanced police check, copies of which could be sent to potential sitter assignments within a few days of notification.
