About Me/ Company

'Sitters' was set up to provide a house and pet sitting service which can be tailored to the customer requirements rather than a generic service as provided by most. We are a couple who work from home.
Anth - management background having spent 18 years in logistics and very methodical in approach to any responsibility. A junior football coach and parent governor as well as registered assistant to Claire who owns a childcare business therefore 3 fully enhanced CRB's. While working in logistics also held a 'disclosure Scotland' as a key account manager for Thomas De La Rue (bank note printing).

Claire a former nurse with the NHS and now owner of a highly successful childcare setting with paid workers also holds a fully enhanced CRB.


We live 10 minutes from the Northumberland coast, 5 minutes from Plessey Woods and East Cramlington where we take the dogs most of the time but we will stick to the routes as chosen by the client if required.

Dogs are walked to your specification. We both love cats too. We don't have cats of our own as there are 2 next door who are always around. 100% trustworthy and honest service. We need to be squeaky clean at all time as our other business depends on this too. We can clean or even finish off any ironing while you are away if you have not had time in the mad rush to catch that plane. Any questions please contact us for further details

Previous Experience

Between us we have years of experience as pet owners from small caged pets to larger breeds of dog. We currently have 1 German Shepherd pup at home and rabbits.

Animal Antics reptile show are invited in as part of the children's education in the childcare business and we are picking up on our knowledge of reptiles and spiders etc.

We are registered members of NARPS UK and are currently building our website within theirs.

Our service is not simply pet sitting but house sitting too. Anything from attending you home twice daily to operate lights, curtains and clear post from sight of your front door to full live in house sit.
