About Me/ Company

Hello, I am almost 41 and live in Little Shelford, Cambridge. I work as a Social worker and have a clear CRB and references to boot.

I grew up with dogs and had two previously when I lived in Yorkshire. I just love dogs and cats and really wish that I could have one of my own, well several actually! However, I am in a long term relationship with Joe who is extremely protective of his cat Jack and believes that if Jack has to live with another cat or dog it will impact upon him psychologically!

It is such a load of popple cock, but when we get into these relationships with other humans we must accept their baggage!

I get to have a great deal of contact with animals through my work in families, and unfortunately it sometimes brings me into contact with animal welfare agencies.

The village I live in and surrounding villages have lots of green spaces and nice walks. There are also a number of smashing dogs around.

I am looking to develop a relationship with a dog or dogs, and hopefully a friendship with the owners. I am predominately available for dog walking, communication and fun early morning and evening during the week, though do work from home at least one day a week so would be able to do some day time. However, at the weekends I have the time, energy and motivation to spend more time with a dog or dogs.

I am a sociable and outgoing character so would be well suited to a gregarious dog, but equally I can adapt to a quiet, nervous or abused dogs and would be able to work on developing their trust and confidence.
