About Me/ Company

Solo Pet Services is based in Hockley, Essex and offers a range of services for your pet’s needs that include pet home visits, dog walking and a pet taxi service. My aim is to assist pet lovers who maybe working or have other engagements to maintain a routine for their pets that will help to give owners that extra peace of mind.

ABOUT ME

‘Solo’ was my first dog that became a loyal and loving companion through my childhood; hence why I have named my business after him. The name also seemed poignant as I work alone and without employing others within my business that ensures continuity and safety. Whilst I have been teaching in Further Education for the last ten years, my passion has always been to work with animals.

Previous Experience

For the last four years during my teaching career I have been doing regular voluntary work at my local kennels. This has involved working with dogs that come in for boarding and those that require a new home. I have also fostered dogs that have needed that extra bit of care which has helped them successfully settle into their new homes.

I have attended Writtle College and gained certificates for Canine First Aid, The Principles of Animal Nutrition and Canine Home Massage. With this additional experience and my love of animals, it has inspired me to start my own business for pets. I am committed to giving the very best care and to provide the love and comfort to all pets within my care for which they so deserve.
