About Me/ Company
~AVAILABLE SEPTEMBER 20TH THROUGH DECEMBER 2ND~
I absolutely love all animals! I am currently a 3rd-year international business student studying abroad in London for the autumn term and I already miss my fur family! This will be the longest I've gone my entire life without an animal nearby so I would love to care for your pet (and earn extra spending money on the side so I can fully partake in all London has to offer)
Previous Experience
Back in the states, I have a Beagle (14 years old) and an Australian Shepherd (6 years old) and I used to have 3 ferrets, 2 cats, and I rescued a kitten from the middle of a busy road.
For the past 2 years, I volunteered 4+ hours a week at my local animal shelter (totaling 160 hours). My volunteer role included taking dogs for walks, giving them love and attention during a stressful time, making sure their water was filled regularly and talking with potential adopters to help the animals find permanent and loving homes. I have sufficient experience caring for all sorts of medical conditions (luxating patellas, eating disorders, heartworm, and cleaning surgery wounds to name a few) as well as experience with anxious animals.
Qualifications & Training
I am very responsible, reliable, and observant. I will make sure your furry family members are properly taken care of and loved while you are away at work or on vacation. As I said, I have 160 volunteer hours, meaning direct contact caring for hundreds of animals. I have no specific certified qualifications, but I can handle minor animal emergencies and I know the signs if something is off with the health of your pet.
Other Services
I'm really flexible so let me know if there is something specific you'd like me to do. The only thing is I cannot host your furry family member overnight because I live in a university dorm.
I will attempt training your dog or teach him a trick or two (unless you say no). I'm not a professional and I can't guarantee, but I have taught sit, stay, down, shake, and come to multiple dogs. If I notice your dog doesn't know something, I'll attempt (for free, literally just for fun) and I'll let you know how it goes :)
