Hello!
My name is Sammi and I am looking for dog walking opportunities in and around Chester! I am a student at Chester University, currently studying Animal Behaviour and Biology.
I am a passionate dog owner myself, however I have had to leave my lovely labrador at home with my parents while I study. Instead I think that dog walking would fill the gap this has left in my life. I enjoy long and short walks, in a variety of different places.
My timetable limits me to certain days and times, although I am only in class for around 15 hours a week, leaving plenty of time for some walkies!
Previous Experience
As I have said, I am a dog owner, which with my dog is enough experience for anyone! She is very high energy and requires a lot of attention, which has provided me with plenty of confidence with more excitable dogs. I have also been a regular walker of my neighbor's dogs, varying both in size and temperament. They have been very happy with my work and I have to say I do enjoy it.
I also have some experience in dog sitting, both in my own home or the owners. I am used to caring for dogs and I understand that for a lot of people the dog is a part of their family and is very important. Therefore I strive to meet all needs of the dog(s), including providing them with their required dietary needs and those medical also.
I have completed my Level 3 National Diploma in Animal management over the past 2 years. During this I have worked with a variety of animals and was required to complete work experience in the field. I gained my work experience by working in a Hydrotherapy and Grooming centre for dogs. While there I was caring for a variety of dogs and had a lot of hands on responsibilities.

- ABC in practical animal care
- BTEC in Safe Manual Handling
Other Services
If required I can also feed other pets, or let animals such as cats in during the day or night. I can also put out rubbish for collection or water plants while in clients homes.
