About Me/ Company
Whether you need a pet sitter due to family commitments, holiday, illness or even just want a night off, have peace of mind knowing you pet is SAFE and SNUG at home. I offer many services which can be tailored to you and your pets needs. I am fully qualified to look after your pets and arrange of different animals including cats, dogs, chickens, rabbits, tortoises, hamsters, budgies, fish and even gibbons.
Most animals are more relaxed in their own home and don’t enjoy the experience of being transported or housed in a boarding establishment. I will come to your house and care for your pets, providing company, food, fresh water, a clean environment and exercise. I can also serve as a security measure, being in post, opening and closing curtain, putting out bins and even watering your plants, which are a good deterrent to burglars.
I am well Qualified in animal care, insured and DBS checked (formerly CRB check).

Previous Experience
My Name is Laura Stevens. My love for animals started at a very early age and could not imagine a single day without them. I have grown up with a range of different pets from cats, rabbit, doves, chickens, tortoises, fish, hamsters, guinea pigs and mice. Of course I have my own pets now, my cat called Sunny, My three guinea pigs, sapphire, aqua and April and my two bearded dragons rusty and dusty.
I have always hated leaving my pets, so known how hard it is to leave your pets even for a minute. With safe and snug you can have peace of mind knowing your pet is in safe hands and is being well cared for. I am fully insured and CBR checked.

Qualifications and experiences
I spent five years at college and university studying and receiving a qualification in BTEC national diploma and BTEC higher national diploma in animal care and management and a Bsc (Hons) applied animal studies degree, which including animal science, husbandry, health, welfare, nutrition, behaviour and nursing.
I have gain years of experience from working within a aquatic and reptile shop, catteries, kennels, rescue centres and zoos.

Cat sitting
I am happy to care for both house cats and cats that have access outside. I will visit your houses, feed your cat(s), clean litter trays, provide fresh water, groom/play with your cat and provide TLC. Most visits are 30minute long, but frequency and time of visits can be arranged to suit your requirements. I will also provide home security while I am there by bring in your post, water house and pot plants, turning on/off lights and opening/closing curtains.
Dog sitting
I will visit your houses, feed your dog(s), clear up any accidents, provide fresh water, play with your dog and provide TLC. Dog walks can also be arranged. Most visits are 30minute long, but frequency and time of visits can be arranged to suit your requirements. I will also provide home security while I am there by bring in your post, water house and pot plants, turning on/off lights and opening/closing curtains.
Small pet sitting
I will visit your house provide fresh water, food, health check, exercise, clean and looked after your pet as arranged.

Dog walking
Exercise is an extremely important part of a Dog's life, it helps to prevent weight gain and keep them healthy, happy and prevent boredom which can lead to destructive behaviour.
I am happy to come a collect your dog and take them to a local safe, clean and dog friendly wood, beach or park. Walks can be arranged for 30minutes to an hour long, given your dog time to run, play and get a good satisfying walk. Frequency and time of walks can be arranged to suit your requirements
Dogs are normally walked on a lead, off lead walks can be arranged if required once I have developed a bond with your dog. All dogs are walked on a one to one basis, apart from dogs from the same family.
Full house sitting
If you are going away and want someone to live in your house and look after your pets and home, then full house/pet sitting services can be arranged. Pets will not be left alone for more than 5hours during the day and will not be left alone after dark.I will also bring in your post, water your plants, turning on/off lights, opening/closing curtains and provide home security. Other requirements can be arranged. Overnight only/day only can also be arranged.
