About Me/ Company

Ruff’s Dog Walking & Pet Care Services is owned and run by Kelly and Jemma Ruff, two sisters from Stourport-On-Severn who both have a passion for animals.

Kelly worked at a local veterinary practice for 9 years being a veterinary nursing assistant. Both of us have grown up with many different breeds of dog and also several cats.�

Dog Walking

We like to get to know your pet before we take your dog out, we will arrange a consultation to discuss individual needs.

Our walks always start from your home lasting either 30 minutes or 1 hour using fields, woods and parks where ever possible. We do not transport your dog as we feel this can be stressful for your pet.

To ensure the safety of your dog and members of the public, we will walk a maximum of 4 dogs between us at any one time as we feel it’s impossible for one person to effectively control or pick up after a large pack of dogs.

We do not discriminate against any breed, all breeds are welcome. We have a vast knowledge of the majority of breeds and any we don’t we will research to gain a greater knowledge to give the best possible services to you and your dog.

Puppy Visits

We all know puppies are cute and adorable but require a lot of love, time and attention. While you're at work we will visit your new puppy to let them out in the garden to go to the toilet, feed your puppy if required, clear up any accidents and change bedding if necessary, but most importantly give them some playtime and love.

Dog Visits

If your dog is old or recovering from an illness/operation and would like some company we can go and visit them to administer any medication, check they have access to go to the toilet and a potter around the garden or around the block. We can sit with them and give plenty of cuddles.

Kitten/Cat Visits

We know that cats like a routine and don’t like change especially to their surroundings. Cats can become distressed in catteries because of this, we offer an alternative to give you peace of mind and keep your cat happy whilst you are working or away.
We will discuss your cat s individual needs and can visit up to 3 times a day which will include feeding, ensure they have fresh water, letting them in/out, changing litter trays and giving them love and attention.

We can also pick up your post, draw the curtains and make sure your house is secure whilst you are away.

We are fully insured, police checked and members of the National Association of Pet Sitters & Dog Walkers.
