About Me/ Company

I am an established gundog breeder and trainer in Strathspey and have been working with dogs for 20 years. I have decided to offer day care and overnight boarding in my home as I recognise that many dogs find a boarding kennel environment stressful and do not adjust to a change in their routine and the attention and exercise they are used to receiving.

I have a dedicated dog room in the house with its own woodburner and tuffies dog beds and also an enclosed exercise pen. I live on a private estate with miles of tracks for dog walking.

Previous Experience

I worked in rescue kennels Holly Hedge near Bristol for 4 years. I worked at Countryways gundogs for a year, i now have my own gundog business in the Highlands and have been taking friends dogs for boarding in the house for several years on an informal basis aswell as my usual dogs in for training in the kennels. I started dog walking when I was 14 years old and have also been house/pet sitting and looked after boarding kennels for owners to give them a break away!

I am in the process of joining the National Association For Registered Pet Sitters (NARP) which will mean that I am fully insured.

Other Services

I also train gundogs, breed the occasional litter of Labradors or spaniels and sometimes have part or fully trained dogs available for sale.
