About Me/ Company
I am a 20 year old Zoo Biology student, currently looking for pet care jobs whilst I am back in Hull over summer.
I feel like I am a friendly individual with a love for nearly all animals! Unfortunately my only downfall would be my fear of birds, as I used to have a phobia and I am slowly working on getting over it. I will work with birds but it is the only animal I feel that I would not be able to give an adequate level of affection.
I have my own car to get to your house so travel is not an issue, and I am willing to travel for up to around 20 miles (I live in Willerby, Hull).
My availability is any dates, with the exception of two short holidays, between 02/06/2014 and 28/09/2014. So please get in touch!
My email is Rosie_briggg@hotmail.com if you would like to directly message me, and I am happy to give any more information!
Previous Experience
I have experience volunteering and working in Kennels, Catteries, and Rescue Centres, so feel I have enough knowledge to care for your animals to a good standard!
I have my own dog and cat, and can use my dog to socialise your own if that is wanted. He is a lovely temperament and is great with other dogs and people. By training him from a puppy I also have some experience in that. I also trained my cat to sit in an attempt to reduce his aggression, which worked and he is now much more loving (though he may just like the treats!)
I have also looked after my neighbours dogs for 10 days previously, going round two times daily to walk, feed, and play with them.
Qualifications & Training
I am currently studying Zoo Biology at University, which does not directly link to domestic care, but a lot that I have learnt can be linked to it.
Before that I studied an Extended Diploma in Animal Management, which included Health, Training, and general care of animals. This course also included voluntary work on the animal unit and in the Kennels.
