About Me/ Company

Hi there!

My name is Rosa Horton and I am based near the 4 banks in Chorlton, Manchester.

I am currently a final year student nurse and thought this would be a fantastic way to earn a little bit of extra money doing something I love.

I live very near Chorlton Meadows, and recently I was training for a half marathon which I completed the other day. Whilst running around the water park and the meadows I noticed what a fantastic space it was for dogs to use and the idea of offering my dog walking services seemed like a good idea!

As I am studying I can't have a dog of my own (one day!)....
However, I am lucky enough to have a gorgeous lurcher back at home in Sheffield who I visit frequently.

I can offer you a reliable, friendly service from a responsible girl who is passionate about dogs. I have a warm, clean and friendly home with 3 other dogs lovers. If the dates fit, I would certainly be happy to offer dog sitting. Your dog would certainly get a lot of attention!!

Previous Experience

Although I have never been a 'professional' dog walker. I think the most valuable experience you can get is actually owning a dog.

Back at home in Sheffield me and my mother got a rescue dog, a lurcher who we called Porridge. For the first 4 years of his life, me and my mother shared responsibility for Porridge.

I really miss taking him out and watching him run off all his energy and have a fantastic time playing with other dogs. It's a lovely thing to see!

Qualifications & Training

No official qualifications regarding dog walking.

However I am nearly a qualified nurse, I have therefore gained certificates in Basic Life Support/First Aid, Moving and Handling and Fire Safety.

Only last weekend I completed a half marathon, I hope this will show that I am fit and healthy and capable of keeping up with an excited dog!
