Initial visit - free
To meet you and your dog - this helps your dog to be more comfortable when I show up for their first walk. I will also collect emergency contact/vet contact information, answer any questions, pick up keys and fill in any necessary paperwork.

Group walk (60 minutes) £15 per dog.
Each additional dog from the same household costs only £12 extra.
1 to 1 walk ( 30 minutes) £15.
Home visit (30 minutes) £10.

Previous Experience

I have lived on a farm for most of my life and had lots of animals. This has allowed me to gain a lots of experience with dogs, cats, sheep, cows, chickens and horses.
Working & training sheepdogs for the past 3 years.
Walking & training German Shepard’s for 6 years.
Walking & owning different breeds of dogs 10 years.

Qualifications & Training

Dog First Aid certificate.
Level 2 diploma in Dog Training.

How it works.
Initial free, no obligation home visit.
Once you have made an inquiry to Robyn’s K9 Rambles, we will arrange a free, no obligation home visit to meet with you and your dog, to discuss your requirements and answer any questions you may have.
As it is likely that you may be out and the days arranged to walk/visit your dog, a house key will be signed over and a brief contract signed. The contract will outline the responsibilities of Robyn’s K9 Rambles, procedure in case of an emergency, telephone number etc. for further information please see terms & conditions.

Booking a service
Single, occasional or block bookings can be made at the time of the free initial home visit, by the phone or by email ( please see contact page) All booking will be for session period rather than a precise time. For example early morning or mid afternoon etc. this is to allow for traffic, inclement weather, pick up and drop off of dogs etc. without compromising the time you are paying for, and more importantly ensuring your dog gets the most benefit from the time. All bookings should be made in advance to avoid disappointment.

The Walk
We will pick up your dog from your home. If your dog will be joining a group walk, I will pick up his walking companions en route to the woods, rivers or private fields where the walk will begin. I will ensure that your dog is walked for the full duration of the time you have booked and not charge you for the time spent collecting and returning. All efforts will be made to meet the agreed booking whatever the weather.

Payment
All payments to be made by cash, cheque or bank transfer at the end of the working week.

Please note.
Your dog needs to be up to date with all vaccinations, worming and also tick/ flea treatments & insurance.
Robyn’s K9 Rambles are only able to walk (aggressive dogs or bitches in season) 1 on 1.
Robyn’s K9 Rambles are not liable for any vets bills or 3rd party claims.
Robyn’s K9 Rambles are fully insured.

Other Services

Group dog walks - our most popular option, your dog would be walked in a small group allowing interaction, play and socialising with other dogs in a safe and stimulating environment. Your dog, of course, will have to be dog-friendly and should not pull excessively on the lead. New dogs joining in with group walks may be initially walked individually to better understand their behavior and general suitability for joining an existing group. If at any time we feel your dog is unsuitable for a group walk you will be offered, where possible, our dog walking service 1 to 2 basis. Group walks last approximately 1 hour.

1 to 1 walk - some dogs prefer the attention of human company more than they do the attention of their own kind, for these dogs we can offer our 1 to 1 walk. A1 to 1 walk is also suitable for older or less mobile dogs. We can also re-enforce any training or commands you have been working on with your dog. A 1 to 1 walk lasts 30 minutes. This does not include travel, pick up or drop off times.

Home visits - These are particularly suitable for new puppies where you want them to have a little attention when you cannot be there. We will give them 30 minutes of care and attention, engaging them in play and interaction. We will give fresh water and food if required, and allow them to stretch their legs and relieve themselves. This is also a great service for older dogs, who may not be up to the demands of a 1 to 1 or group walk but still needs to be let out, relieve themselves and will benefit from some human company whilst you are unable to be there. Home visits last 30 minutes.


Pet Taxi - you may be aware that most taxis do not allow dogs on board, so to counter this problem we have our Pet Taxi service for when your dog needs to be transported to somewhere important, like the vets. This service needs to be booked in advance; however we will endeavour to attend short notice/ emergency call outs whenever possible.


Home Security Checks - if you are concerned about your home security whilst you are away, and would like someone trustworthy to check everything OK whilst you are away then this is the ideal service for you. For your piece of mind we will visit your property, alternate lights/curtains / blinds etc ( if required) , tidy the post, water the plants and feed small animals whilst you are away. We can then arrange to text your mobile, should you so wish, to let you know everything is OK so you can continue with your holiday with an easy mind knowing your home is safe and secure.
