About Me/ Company
Hi, I’m Richard. I’m an animal lover and have grown up in the countryside around all sorts of four-legged pets. Dogs are however a favourite of mine and I can’t wait to have my own!
I’m a 23-year-old student currently living in London. Due to the pandemic, I’m studying online so have a lot of free time which I’m looking to fill with looking after a dog, whether that be during the weekdays or on weekends.
I’m quite active and regularly go to Victoria park so would love to have some company.
I’ve owned and looked after dogs little and large, and puppies and old dogs alike, so am well versed in anything dog-related.
Look forward to hearing from you!
Previous Experience
Indie - A 6-year-old golden gold retriever who I've looked after for various periods over the course of 3 years. She was a high energy dog so required two walks a day for around 2/3 hours.
John/Arabella - Two 8-year-old cats who's owners I house sit for twice a year whilst they go on holiday. The cats required regular attention and John is a diabetic so had insulin shots twice a day (feel confident administering injections if needed).
Jasper - 7-year-old rescue terrier. Jasper has bad separation anxiety and finds it difficult to bond/trust walkers other than his owners. Jasper and I built a very strong relationship, working on building trust to reduce his short temperament which he had developed from being in a shelter. I looked after Jasper for around 2 years whilst living in Bristol.
Bea - 12-year-old greyhound. Bea was a very shy dog that didn't have a lot of energy so didn't require long walks just some love and assistance to feel safe. I have looked after Bea for various periods over the course of 6 years.
Marcus - 5-year-old cat. Marcus has had multiple health implications so I was regularly asked to be organise vet appointments, accompany him to the vet, and was responsible for generally monitoring his day-to-day health.
