About Me/ Company

Hello everyone! My name is Rebecca but everyone calls me Becky! I'm 14 years old, 15 in October and I am currently looking for a job walking dogs or sitting dogs during the school holidays and weekends! I was born in Walton-On-Thames in Surrey and ever since I can remember, I have always wanted a dog! I even remember when my parents asked me if I wanted a brother or sister, I replied simply with I wanted a puppy!

When I was 7, a friend of the family's dog had a litter of Labradors. Since then, I owned chickens, guinea-pigs and rabbits but I am truly a dog lover. Since my puppy Thunderbolt came into my life, I fell in love with dogs. I have currently owned my black lab boy for seven years, half my life. I love dogs and think they are marvellous creatures who deserve long walks and lots of love!

I moved to Cornwall in July 2009, I currently live in the centre of Truro.

I am a very out-going, friendly and hard-working person! I am currently looking for a job as I am thinking about the future, e.g. College and University. I have previously worked as newspaper deliverer for a year and also as a waitress at Cloisters Restaurant in Truro for a few months at Christmas.

I have not had any dog walking jobs before, but it is never to late to start and I want to get into walking the dogs as I enjoy walking my own dog and Cornwall is such a beautiful and scenic place.

Previous Experience

As a young child, I was surrounded by dogs. One of my aunts constantly came for visits and she brought along her dog Bruce. I interacted and played with the dog for years, until he died when I was 7. I took him for walks and fed him and looked after him. I have walked my neighbour's pug, Pete, for a few years while they were looking after it for their daughter. I have also owned my own seven year old Black Labrador boy called Thunderbolt. I walk him twice a day.

Relevant Info

I am willing to come with my parents to meet you and your dogs before you decide whether or not you want to hire me. I am available to travel to anywhere in cornwall (excluding North Cornwall) via my Dad driving me, during school holidays, I can take the bus/train.

Other Services

I am available every weekend and during school holidays as a dog walker, however, I am also available to look after your dog (e.g. go into the house, let the dog out, fed them, brush them, walk them) during your own holidays. I can walk dogs in groups or individuals.
