About Me/ Company
Hi there! I'm Rachael Binnie, I'm 18 years old and I love animals. I have a rescue dog named Odie, who I have been fostering for over a year now. He's a staffy cross with colly, though no one is entirely sure.
I walk a friend of the family's labra-doodle every day as well as my own dog, except I have to walk Odie separately as he isn't very good with other dogs, mainly little breeds. Reason why is unknown but I'm determined to get him more socialized and trained so that he can have a more full life, seeing as at the moment he has to wear a muzzle and is rarely off the lead.
I found this website in hope to find a job that includes animals and as I already walk a dog, I thought this would be a really good site to join.
Of course as I have 2 dogs I walk every day, separately, it would help to walk dogs that are in my area (London, Harringey) but of course, I'll always see what I can do as long as my own dog gets what he needs too ^_^
Previous Experience
I own a boisterous but beautiful dog and so I can handle big and perhaps difficult breeds.
I walk only one dog everyday but a very friendly labra-doodle who I'm sure I could walk with others too. I also sit for the owners kittens as well as the dog himself at times when she is away for a night or more.
I have worked in a stable if that helps prove my love for animals and desire for a job with them.
Relevant Info
I thought it would also be good to join as I'm sure there are some really awesome dog owners and trainers on here that may be able to give me a bit of advice and help on my own dog, as, again, he's got so much energy, he's a very strong and affectionate dog and I would really love to see him be able to run and play till he tires out.
I've been on this site for only a few minutes so I don't know how the communication works on here but if you think you have any advice on Odie, it would be great to hear from you. Obviously every dog is different, I took him to dog training ever since I got him and he hardly seemed to improve, he spent a day or two with a brilliant trainer who brought him back calm and said he had no problem with other dogs. Of course that was a while back and Odie seems to have some kind of frustration with small breeds and tends to be a bit of a bully.
