About Me/ Company
My name is Rachel, I am 28, from Northern ireland, and have been in London for 6 months. I work as an architectural assistant on Old Street, and am still settling into London Life. My work is often consuming, so I enjoy taking a complete break and find that dog waking is one of the best ways to do this. I grew up surrounded by animals, so it makes me feel more at home. Unfortunately I am in no situation to own a dog just yet, in terms of flats and general work hours, but I would love to, which is why I am offering up my services.
I am available on Saturdays and Sundays to walk dogs, and to pet sit. Group dog walking not a problem, but ideally I would get to know just one or two dogs, to build up a rapport.
Previous Experience
After completing an architecture internship in Holland, I decided to take some time out and volunteered in my local dog and cat sanctuary in Northern Ireland:

Initially intended to be a few hours per week, this became more like a part time job, as I found it so hard to leave the dogs. The work was voluntary, and I was responsible for the cleaning and dog walking of over 15 dogs at a time. Having grown up with dogs all my life, I found that the dogs were always at ease with me, which was really rewarding, especially those who had been abandoned, or ill treated.
Qualifications & Training
I have a Masters Degree in Architecture, but not sure that is relevant. Although it did teach me immense patience!
Relevant Info
I am very confident with all dogs, large or small, with experience of the most difficult of dogs from my time at the sanctuary. Every dog is different but I think I am generally very easy going, and they pick up on this. I find dogs are like a breath of fresh air sometimes, especially in a busy city, so I would love the chance to get to know some local pups!
