Premier Pet Carers are a dedicated team of professional pet care providers. We are fully mobile so we can travel anywhere in Somerset to care for your pets in the familiar surroundings of their own home. Experienced and registered with NarpsUK. Fully insured and dedicated to providing an excellent and reliable service to busy pet owners. We understand that your pets are much loved members of your family and as pet lovers ourselves we enjoy what we do!
We have access to 24/7 Veterinary advice from 'Vetfone' so we can care for a variety of animals from dogs to ducks.

Previous Experience

Having worked in the equine industry as a freelance professional groom and rider since leaving Agricultural college what seems like too long ago in the mists of time I have had years of experience handling a range of different household animals from horses to show rabbits. Being brought up in the countryside pets like dogs, cats small furry things like guinea pigs & rabbits have always been part of our lives. I maintain high standards in my approach to pet care and listening to the clients requirements is paramount to me and my helpers. Some of my course work involved observing and studying the work of the National Canine Defense League and working with seized dogs undergoing court cases at a specialist Police approved kennels in Greater Manchester..

I have various qualifications in Equestrianism. S.O.A In Equine Nutrition from Edinburgh University
B.H.S. Stage 1, 2, and 3.
Diploma for Stable management.
S.O.A In Animal Behaviour and Welfare from Edinburgh University.
CAT and DOG FIRST AID. recently assessed and updated in July 1016

Relevant Info

We always carry pet 1st aid kits and supply text message updates to all owners after we have visited. We are straightforward and easy to use with online banking facilities, email, face book and twitter. We always conduct a FREE consultation at your home to meet you and your pets before taking any bookings. Once you are on our system, simply get in touch, book your required service, pay and let us do the rest. All payments are made in advance of the service start date. We aim to be flexible so date changes and last minute bookings are not a problem where possible. If you need a particular service that you can't see listed please get in touch. We always strive to help.

Other Services

All dogs are walked individually unless from the same household. Dogs are towel dried afterwards and are walked in a safe rural environment. Pet visits also provide company and interaction with pets left alone.Time out in the garden, feeding, litter box, hutches cleaned, medication given if necessary. Dog day care is carried out in the familiar surroundings of your pets home so need to drive your pet anywhere. Overnight pet sitting for up to 3 dogs for a maximum of 3 nights in your pets home. Specialist walking on our own private land for walking anxious or dogs nervous of meeting other dogs. This enables nervous dogs to have a much needed relaxed walking experience in a controlled environment.
